Farm- and family history for Rissa volume 2 is ready in mid-December.

Terje Bratberg is the author of volume 2, the follow-up to Astrid Marit Bjørkvik`s volume 1 which dealt with Hasselvika.

The farm and family history continues with the farm numbers following those in the Hasselvika book. Volume 2 deals with the main farms named Langseter, Dørndal and Sund – farm numbers 126 - 125 - 124.

The book’s organization:

The books are organized in the manner of the land register, and each individual name-farm is treated as a whole. The description of the main farm’s general history recounts borders, its area, the farm’s name, oldest settlement, ownership, etc.

After that follows a description of the smaller farms within the main farm. In this part of the book, the family histories are an important component.

What does the book cost?

”Bind 2 av gårds- og slektshistoria - Langseter, Dørndal, Sund” Kr. 480,- or

Volumes 2, 3 and 4 in advance: Kr. 450,- per volume (also saves foreign draft charges).

There is no charge for mailing the books.
